Ayurvedic massages and treatments can be covered by the complementary health insurance ONLY  IF  part of an  Ayurvedic health programe.  Check Zorgwijzer and contact your Dutch health insurance to make sure your treatments will be reimbursed.

You typically get €30-75/day reimbursed.
  • Ayurveda is covered under many "Aanvullende verzekering" packages, which you puchase as an add-on to your basis pakket, that includes coverage for natural medicine, fysio, etc.
  • Having an aavullende verzekering is not always cheaper! Check the difference between the total vergoeding you receive in a year and the maand premie (how much you pay each month for the extra insurance).
  • You pay directly in advance for services, then later send the receipt to your verzekeraar for reimbursement for the dates you attended appointments.
  • Ayurvedic appointments do NOT use your Eigen Risico.
    The own risk sum (eigen risico) of € 385.00 or higher for your health insurance does not apply to the additional insurance, but only to the basic package. This means that you do not have to pay yourself the first € 385.00 (or more) for a treatment.

  • Ayurveda is gedekt onder veel Aanvullende verzekering pakketten, die u als aanvulling op uw basispakket aanschaft. de aanvullende verzekering kan dekken natuurgeneeskunde, fysio, etc.
  • U betaalt direct vooruit voor de diensten en stuurt het factuur later naar uw verzekeraar voor vergoeding van u afsprak.

  • Een aanvullende verzekering is niet altijd goedkoper! Controleer het verschil tussen de totale vergoeding die u in een jaar ontvangt en de maandpremie (hoeveel u maandelijks betaalt voor de extra verzekering).

  • Ayurvedische consulten en behandelingen maken GEEN gebruik van uw Eigen Risico. Het eigen risico van € 385,00 voor uw zorgverzekering geldt niet voor de aanvullende verzekering, maar alleen voor het basispakket. Dit betekent dat u de eerste € 385,00 voor een behandeling niet zelf hoeft te betalen.
